Access to Apprenticeship Sept 2021 Programme - OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

taking applications for the Access to Apprenticeship September 2021 Programme. 

  

The Access to Apprenticeship Programme is aimed at young men and women aged 16 to 24 living in Dublin who experience social and economic barriers. The Programme provides an opportunity for young people to: 

  • Sample a range of apprenticeships in; Construction, Engineering, Electrical, Motor and Aviation industries 
  • Prepare their CV and interview skills 
  • Undertake two weeks work experience  
  • Complete Health & Safety training 
  • It is a 12 week course 

The purpose of the programme is to support young people to progress into apprenticeships.  

 

We are holding an online information session: 

Date:                            Thursday 20th of May 

Time:                            4p.m. to 5p.m.

At this, we will provide an overview of the Access to Apprenticeship programme, outline the application process and answer any questions you might have.

The most up to date application form is attached, along with an information sheet and flyer.  The provisional closing date to receive applications is Friday the 20th of August 2021.   


If you are interested in applying, we recommend starting the application as soon as possible as it could take some time to get the required documentation together. 

Once applications are completed, please return them by email to accesstoapprenticeship@tudublin.ie    

If you cannot email them you can post applications to the below:

Please note: That programme delivery and duration is subject to change due to the ongoing health measures in place to combat the COVID 19 pandemic. 


Applicants who are completing their Leaving Certificate in 2021 are welcome to apply for the Access to Apprenticeship Programme.  

 

Second level students still enrolled in school for the 2021/22 academic year are not eligible to apply.
